Pass Thurn to Hotel Edelweiss

We had done this walk a few times now and have enjoyed it every time. Follow link to previous walk. This was a walk Klaus and Veronika's have printed on the daily menu sheets. This was a walk from Pass Thurn 1273m back to the Hotel Edelweiss 761m. After breakfast, and making our pack lunches, a quick change and we caught the bus. When we got to the bus stop we saw a number of other couples from the hotel who were catching the bus. They were staying on the bus for the stop after Pass Thurn, Breitmoos, for a cable car ride.
You have to be careful for the first part until you get on the Romerweg (Roman Way) as the path is right next to the road. The route is almost directly North, once off the road the path moves into the trees.
We had lunch at Jochberg 923m. Then walked along the path to Hutte.
The path takes us straight back to the Hotel Edelweiss 761m, and we got back in time for tea and cake. In all we had walked approx 16km with a 512m climb down.
