Idwal Cottage to Glyder Fawr - Snowdonia 18 June 2014.

Idwal Cottage to Glyder Fawr and return
Snowdonia
Distance 6km Climb 500m
Wednesday 18 June 2014

Today we started again at Idwal cottage 320m and walked the footpath on east side of Llyn Idwal.

We turned south up the steep side of Glyder Fawr where we were going to practice our rope work.

The going was easy a lot easier than the rock looked, there were plenty of footholds, handholds and places to walk.

Looking Good em hem

At the top we had our packed lunches and enjoyed the views. After lunch we turned east onto the west side of Y Gribin and started down hill.

We had a little more practice rope work on our way down the footpath to Idwal cottage.

Did I say what another absolutely Brilliant Day. We had covered approx 6km with 500m climb.
